Gay and Lesbian Prisoners UK

Out Side In (registered charity 1068527) was formed in 1997 as a support network for G&L prisoners in UK Young Offender and Prison Institutions.
We work with prisoners, prisoners partners / families / children to address issues raised surrounding being gay in prison.
We offer a penpal service for volunteers to maintain contact with prisoners who may not be 'out' to family or friends or indeed within the prison system.

As a charity, all our work is voluntary and totally reliant on donations. We receive no financial assistance in any other way.
